Kaylyn and Karl's Wedding at Blowing Rock Country Club

Kaylyn was an inspiring bride to work with; not only was she planning a wedding, but was also planning a move and a new job! She made it look easy and every time we met it felt like friends catching up;

I love when connections are made outside of the wedding bubble! She looked gorgeous on their day and you could feel the excitement throughout the wedding party and guests. Millefluer’s flowers were amazing and tied the lake house reception together perfectly. Details on the cake and buffet stood out and the whole team at Blowing Rock Country Club was great to work with! Wayfaring Wanderer’s shots are so breathtaking; Jessica does a great job of capturing candids with so many feelings! I think Kaylyn and Karl’s wedding party had some of the best dance moves and they brought the house down all night long!

Haden and Brian’s NC Mountain Wedding at The Camp at Eseeola in Linville

Haden and Brian hosted a glamorous and distinctly southern mountain wedding for their close friends and family in Linville, NC. The ceremony was held at All Saints Episcopal Church followed by a lively reception at The Camp at Eseeola. Everything about the wedding day was absolutely breathtaking. Janna Avery, owner of Callista designs truly outdid herself in creating one of the most fabulous events we have ever seen! She even incorporated mountain laurel from Haden’s Grandmother’s garden into the bridal bouquet. The picture perfect early summer weather was the icing on the cake! The photos by Paul Whorton Photography say it all!

Amy and John’s English Garden Party Wedding in Blowing Rock NC

This adventurous couple didn’t let rain on their wedding day dampen their spirits. They met the weather head on and suited up with galoshes and umbrellas for an amazing pre ceremony photo session. They moved their ceremony into the Evergreen Room at Chetola Resort in Blowing Rock and then danced the night away under the big tent! Amy, a writer and anglophile wanted her wedding to have a simple and laid back, yet vintage feel with a little bit of British flair. Fuschia Moss and Snow in July Designs fed off of each other to create a cohesive theme that had look of antiquity while also incorporated the colors of the changing seasons.

Lyndsay and Skylar’s Fall Mountain Wedding in Banner Elk NC

When the church bells rang, all of Banner Elk could hear that Lyndsay was about to marry Skylar. The trees joined the event team by turning the perfect shades of orange, red and gold overnight. Lyndsay was a stunning bride, all romantic brunette against the fall colors.The reception was at The Farm in Banner Elk. A little rain came, for good luck, but the tent and pavilion kept everyone dry, warm and dancing all night. Lyndsay wore a full dress for the ceremony, with romantic loose locks, and then changed into her party gown, and had her hair pinned up in time for a lip synch contest with her father. I think she won, but I can’t be sure! Their performances were hilarious, impressive, and well rehearsed. I know I won’t soon forget it! I had so much fun working with Lyndsay. I felt like part of the family. It was truly a romantic, lovely, memorable day.
